[dropcap custom_class=”normal”]Olen luonnollisuuden puolesta puhuja, vaikka värjäänkin hiuksiani ja käytän meikkiä arjessa. Kauneushan on katsojan silmässä, mutta itse olen sitä mieltä, että luonnollisuus on kaunista. Älkää käsittäkö väärin, tykkään meikata ja muutenkin ehostaa itseäni. Luonnollisuudella tarkoitan ehkä enemmänkin itsensä hyväksymistä sellaisenaan kuin on.[/dropcap]
Tuntuu, että nykyään on ihan normaalia käydä korjauttamassa “vikojaan” plastiikkakirurgilla. Jokainen saa tietenkin tehdä täysin omat päätökset elämässään. Jos kosmeettinen leikkaus on oma tahto, niin siitä vain. Ainut asia mikä mietityttää on se, että monet tekevät näitä päätöksiä liian nuorena. Moni alle kaksikymppinen voi olla täysin eri mieltä asioista viiden vuoden päästä ja silloin voi harmittaa jos on ehtinyt käydä jo veitsen alla.
Itsellänikin on toki niitä epävarmuuksia, mutta koen, että ne kuuluvat elämään. En todellakaan ole aina tyytyväinen omaan peilikuvaani, mutta fakta on se, että juuri nämä piirteet tekevät minusta minut. Haluan, että vanhempana eletty elämä näkyy kasvoistani sen sijaan, että naama on niin kiristetty, että kasvoista löytyy pelkästään se yksi ja sama ilme.
Kuten sanottu, en ole plastiikkakirurgiaa vastaan missään nimessä, mutta en koe sen olevan oma juttuni. Puhun nyt siis puhtaasti kosmeettisista operaatioista. En myöskään halua tuomita ketään, joka on leikkauksessa käynyt. Vaikka itse olen asiasta yhtä mieltä niin se ei tietenkään tarkoita sitä, että oma mielipiteeni olisi yhtään parempi kuin kenenkään muun. Omaan silmääni luonnollisuus on vain yksinkertaisesti kauniimpaa.
Mitä mieltä te olette tästä aiheesta?
I’ll always root for natural beauty. I do wear make-up and I color my hair, but I think everyone should emphasize their best features rather than try to fix their face or body through plastic surgery. I’m talking now about purely cosmetic surgeries. I think it’s super important in life to accept yourself as you are. I know, it’s easier said than done. And yes, I’m not always happy with my appearance, but every “fault” is part of me and I wouldn’t change them even if I could.
Plastic surgery is becoming more popular as we speak and I think it’s a shame that women feel the pressure to look a certain way and not embrace themselves as they are. I honestly think plastic surgery (for cosmetic reasons only) should have an age-limit of 25 or something, because it’s a shame when very young women start changing their appearance due to insecurities and pressure from the outside.
I’m not completely against plastic surgery, but I just could never see myself going under the knife to change the shape of my nose or get bigger breasts for example. If someone else feels like their life will become much better if they had bigger breasts, it’s good they have the option to do it. I just think natural looking women are the most beautiful. This is of course only my opinion.
