[dropcap custom_class=”normal”]Niin siinä sitten kävi, että melkein kaikki Pariisin kuvat hävisivät kuin tuhka tuuleen. Nyt jää siis fiiliskuvat sieltä postaamatta, pahoittelut! Revittiin hiuksia poikaystäväni kanssa, mutta niitä ei löytynyt mistään, joten ollaan varmaan poistettu ne vahingossa. Joukossa olisi ollut muutamia kuvia Hotel Costesista, mutta nyt joudutte tyytymään tähän lainattuun kuvaan.[/dropcap]

Hotel Costes on legendaarinen paikka etenkin muotiväen keskuudessa ja muotiviikkojen aikana sinne kannattaa poiketa lasilliselle. Hinnat on kylläkin ihan järkyttävät ja ruoka on ihan hyvää, mutta ei mitään sen erikoisempaa. Ainut asia minkä takia sinne siis kannattaa mennä on tunnelman ja ihmisten vuoksi. Terassi pursuaa mitä mielenkiintoisempia pukeutujia ja sieltä voi muotiviikkojen aikana bongata vaikka ketä. Tällä kertaa me istuttiin Alessandra Ambrosion (tuttu mm. Victorias Secretin mallina) pöydän vieressä ja toisella puolella istui Lena Terlutter. Vastapäätä oli vielä kolmas huippumalli, eli ei ihan jokapäiväinen kokooonpano ainakaan omissa ympyröissäni, heh.

Yksi viinilasillinen ja kakkupala maistui ja sitten jatkettiin matkaa takaisin todellisuuteen. Tämä paikka on nimittäin niin kaukana todellisuudesta kuin mahdollista, mutta juuri sen takia se on niin mielenkiintoinen. Etenkin muotiviikkojen aikaan!

I was trying to find the pictures we took last week in Paris and guess what, most of them are gone. I have no idea what happened, but we lost almost all our Paris shots. I’m super annoyed, because I wanted to show you some shots of Paris during fashion week, but now I can’t. With these pictures would have been some from Hotel Costes so now you just have to live with this borrowed image.

Hotel Costes is quite famous (especially within the fashion crowd) and fashion week is a time when you should go there for drinks. I have to say the food is okay, but nothing crazy and the entire place is very overpriced. So why would you even go there? For the beauty of the place, the crowd and the vibe. During fashion week it’s also a great place to spot interesting styles and interesting people. I mean how often are you sipping your wine between supermodels (one of them being the Victoria’s Secret angel Alessandra Ambrosio) and other  famous fashion influencers? I can tell you that that doesn’t happen in Helsinki that often, heh.

So if you’re in Paris and it’s fashion week, this is the place to be!
