Rakkaus raitoihin ei ole kadonnut mihinkään, vaikka siitä taitaa olla hetki kun niitä viimeksi näkyi täällä blogin puolella. Mielestäni raidat raikastavat asun kuin asun ja raitaneule on yksi vaatekaappini peruspilareista.

Nyt syksyllä olen taas täyttänyt vaatekaappiani uutuuksilla siihen tahtiin, että halu karsia toisesta päästä on kova. Olen jo katsellut ja kypsytellyt ajatuksia muutamien aarteiden luopumisesta (mm. Acnen Canada-huivi, Storets:in tekokarvatakki…) ja laitan niitä lähiviikkoina myyntiin joko tänne blogin puolelle, huuto.nettiin tai Facebookiin. Vinkkaan myynnistä kuitenkin ennakkoon täällä blogissa!

I am seriously addicted to stripes, but just realized that it’s been a while since I’ve worn my beloved striped knits. I think stripes always work and are one of the essential pieces in a woman’s closet. They also make every outfit look more fresh, don’t you think?

Fall is my favorite time of the year (as you already know), which means that my closet has been filling up faster than normal. I hate having too many things and my principle has always been to get rid of something old when purchasing new. This way the closet stays easy and minimal. I think it’s easier to dress us when you only have very dear pieces in there. That said, I need to do another inventory and have a blog sale. I might put the items on a Finnish site, but I’ll let you know when I’ve decided what I’m selling and when.

TGIF – viikon ihanin päivä! Koko viikonloppu ja pitkät yöunet ovat vielä edessä, heh. Nyt kun arkeni on melko vauhdikasta, niin sitä oikein odottaa näitä kahta päivää, jotta pääsee rikkomaan arjen samaa kaavaa. Voi heräillä rauhassa, syödä aamiaista yhdessä rakkaan kanssa ja myöhemmin nauttia pitkä lounas ulkona. Rauhallista oleskelua parhaimmillaan! Mutta jotta elämä ei kävisi kuitenkaan liian tylsäsksi niin huomiselle meillä olisi suunnitelmissa käydä Versaillessa. Sää varauksella tosin. Tämä viikko on ollut todella sateinen, mutta aurinko saisi todellakin paistaa huomenna. Fingers crossed!

Tämä kesällä ostamani villakangastakki pääsi ensimmäistä kertaa ulkoilemaan ja miten hyvä löytö se olikaan. Laadukas ja hyvin leikattu vaate tekee ihmeitä koko olemukselle. Takissa on myös kaunis nahkainen yksityiskohta kauluksen alla, joka on kuin piste i:n päälle. Tässä asussa oli kyllä niin hyvä ja kotoisa olo, että vedän tämän päälleni vielä monesti. Louboutinit eivät tosin toimi arjessani, mutta ne Tod’sin kiiltonahkaiset loaferit toimisivat kyllä sitäkin paremmin (kuola valuu)…

TGIF – it’s my favorite day of the week! The day when the entire weekend is still ahead and a good (looong) nights sleep is around the corner, heh. Now that my days are pretty packed with studies and work, I appreciate so much more the weekends. Feels so good to get off the carusel for two days and just be. Enjoy a lazy breakfast with my love and have a long lunch somewhere. Yes please! We were also planning to visit Versailles, but only if it doesn’t rain. I don’t know what’s up with the French weather these days, but it seems to be raining everyday. Hopefully tomorrow there is at least a short break…Fingers crossed!

I purchased this wool coat during the summer and now I finally got to wear it for the first time. I’m so happy I found it, because it’s one of the most beautiful coats I’ve ever worn. The quality and cut is just perfect. I also love the leather detail under the collar. The icing on the cake! I’m sure I will wear this same look multiple times, but perhaps without the Loubs. They aren’t exactly ideal on the cobble stoned streets of Orléans. But what would be ideal, are the patent leather loafers from Tod’s (drooling)…
