Nämä farkut jakavat varmasti mielipiteitä, mutta itse ihastuin niihin heti kun näin ne upean Sorayan yllä. Onnekseni löysin farkut Zaran nettikaupasta, joten ei muuta kuin tilaus menemään! Farkut näyttävät mielestäni kivalta talvella pitkävartisten nilkkureiden kanssa ja kesällä avokkaiden parina. Säärien pituutta nämä eivät kyllä korosta, mutta ainakin farkkujen korkeavyötärö kompensoi lahkeiden lyhyyttä. Huomasin muuten, että nämä mokkanahkaiset korolliset bootsit ovat palanneet & Other Storiesin valikoimaan. Ne ovat todella hyvät jalassa ja aivan ihanat muutenkin, eli voin suositella niitä lämmöllä!

Puhuin eilen äitini kanssa puhelimessa ja hän kyseli Orléansin jouluvalaistuksesta. Tajusin samalla, että täällähän on aivan mielettömät jouluvalot! Meidänkin katu on aivan täynnä riippuvia koristeita, sekä jalkakäytävältä löytyy varmaan kymmenen koristeltua joulukuusta. Sen lisäksi kahdelle aukiolle on avattu joulumarkkinat, jotka ovat auki päivittäin. Joulufiilistä ei siis voi olla saamatta! Täytyykin käydä kuvailemassa, jotta pääsen näyttämään teille tätä paikallista joulutunnelmaa.

Suunnittelen myös ensi viikolle pientä jouluarvontaa, jotta pystyisin kiittämään teitä kuluneesta vuodesta edes jollain tavalla. Pysykäähän siis kuulolla!

I’m sure these jeans are not for everyone’s taste, but I had to have them after seeing them on the beautiful blogger Soraya. Luckily I found them in my size, so I made the order and a few days later they arrived – and the fit was luckily great! I think they work well with ankle boots or ballerina flats. Obviously they don’t make the legs look very long, but at least the high waist compensates the cropped length. I also noticed that these suede boots (one of my favorites) are back in stock at & Other Stories. They are super comfortable and they look great with any outfit!

I talked with my mother last night and she was asking me about the Christmas decorations in Orléans. I realized then, that the decorations are actually very impressive. Our street alone has so many lights and probably ten Christmas trees all decorated. What I should definitely do is take the camera out for a spin, so that I can share the Christmas atmosphere with you as well! Hopefully by next week I’ll have some pictures to share with you.

[dropcap custom_class=”normal”]Päälläni on lähes päivittäin vähintään yksi harmaa vaatekappale, mutta silti kokoharmaat asut eivät kyllästytä. Tuotetietoja kirjoitellessani tuonne postauksen loppuun, tajusin, että olen pukeutunut kokonaan & Other Storiesin vaatteisiin. Tuo merkki on kyllä noussut yhdeksi suosikeistani. Valikoima on ihana, materiaaleihin on kiinnitetty huomiota ja hinta-laatusuhde on erittäin hyvä. Mitä muuta sitä voisikaan merkiltä enää toivoa?[/dropcap]

Talvi on nyt virallisesti saapunut Orléansiin ja viime yönä oli jo muutama aste pakkasta. Sitä aina unohtaa miten kylmältä ilma voikaan tuntua, vaikka lämpömittari näyttää lähemmäs +10 astetta. Kylmä pohjoistuuli saa ilman tuntumaan huomattavasti kylmemmältä. Toppatakit on siis kaivettu varastosta! Siellä Suomessa on jo saatu lähes etelään asti lunta? Toivon, että täällä ei nähdä lunta tänä vuonna ollenkaan, sillä koko kaupunki menee silloin täysin toimintakyvyttömäksi. Suomalaisena tämä aina huvittavaa, mutta ymmärrettäväähän se on, sillä täällä ei normaalisti lunta pahemmin satele.

Itselläni on kiireinen viikko koulun puolesta (useampia kokeita), mutta ensi viikonlopuksi on taas kivaa puuhaa kun vietämme poikaystäväni syntymäpäiviä. Ensi viikonloppua siis odotellessa, heh!

I wear grey on a daily basis, but I’m still not bored of this color or all grey looks for that matter (which have been very trendy this season). As I was writing the product info for this post, I realised that this entire look (almost) is from & Other Stories. This brand has become one of my favorites. I love their collections, the materials and I think the price-quality relationship is very good.

Winter has now officially arrived to Orléans, as last night the temperature went below zero. Yesterday it was sunny and beautiful, but super cold. It always comes as a surprise how cold it can actually get. And this is nothing yet. I’m not looking forward to the “real” cold weather. People always think that I’m used to the cold, as I’m from Finland, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. I hate the cold and you actually never get used to it.

I have a busy week coming up (many exams), but I’m already looking forward to the next weekend (as always, heh) as it’s my boyfriends birthday. Until then…
