WHITE LACE DRESS

Olimme sunnuntaina seuraamassa Ranska-Portugal ottelua poikaystäväni vanhempien luona ja pelin jälkeen päätimme yöpyä siellä ihan sen takia, että saisimme nukuttua. Jos joku teistä seuraa minua Snapchatissä, niin tiedätte, että melu otteluiden voiton jälkeen on ollut aikamoinen täällä meidän kulmilla. Näiden aikaisempien voittojen kohdalla (niin Ranskan, kuin Portugalin kohdalla) melu on kestänyt yömyöhään, joten aamulla on ollut tiukkaa herätä. Nyt tiesimme, että voitti kumpi tahansa, niin juhlat olisivat aikamoiset. Täällä on nimittäin todella paljon portugalilaisia, joten otimme varman päälle, jotta saisimme kunnon yöunet. Tulimme takaisin kotiin vasta eilen illalla ja ajoitus oli hyvä, sillä pahimmat helteetkin väistyivät (ja asunnossa on siedettävä olla). Onneksi pian alkaa pidennetty viikonloppu (torstaina vietetään Ranskan kansallispäivää) ja lähdemme silloin reissuun, eli lyhyt viikko on tiedossa!

Tämä valkoinen pitsimekko lähtee mukaani länsirannikolle, oli ilmat sitten mitkä tahansa. Päälle voi heittää nahkatakin tai neuleen jos lämpötilat laskevat ja muuten se menee sellaisenaan. Tämä on varmasti kaappini tyttömäisin vaate, mutta se sopii hyvin tähän aikaan vuodesta. Ja muuten huomaatteko, että jalastani löytyvät ne pitkään etsimäni Converset? Löysin vihdoin oikean koon ja mallin – Dainty on sitä alkuperäistä mallia sirompi ja kevyempi. Jackpot!

On Sunday we went to see the France-Portugal football match to my boyfriends parents place and actually decided to spend the night there, so we could sleep better. We live in the center and that’s where everyone goes to celebrate the victory and it’s cars honking and people screaming until the morning. There’s no problem in that, but when my boyfriend needs to wake up in the morning for work, we though it would be best to stay in a calmer place. We came back home yesterday and the timing was perfect, as the heat wave has passed (it gets crazy warm at our top floor apartment). This week is going to be a short one, as we have a long weekend coming up. Thursday is the Bastille Day (National Day), so we have a four day holiday. Can’t wait!

I’m definitely packing this white lace dress with me and it works under a knit if it’s colder and just like that if the heat wave returns. I think this dress is the most girly option in my closet, but it’s perfect for summer. And do you notice that I found the perfect Converse sneakers? I finally found the correct size and model – Dainty is definitely perfect for me. Jackpot!
